Abstract
The formation of (2R) 1-[(t-butyldiphenylsilyl)oxy]-2-furanylethanol ( 4) and anhydro sugar 13 from propargyl lsilyl-2,3-dideoxyhex-2-en-alph a-D-glucopyranoside (1) and propargyl lsilyl-2,3-dideoxyhex-2-en-alpha -D-glucopyranoside 10, respectively, is described.
