ELIMINATION OF NITROGEN FROM COAL IN PYROLYSIS AND HYDROPYROLYSIS - ASTUDY OF COAL AND MODEL CHARS

To determine the changes in coal nitrogen structures during pyrolysis and hydropyrolysis, model chars from defined nitrogen compounds were p repared and subjected to further heating under pyrolysis and hydropyro lysis conditions. Elimination of nitrogen from such model chars as wel l as from coal chars was investigated by pyrolysis-mass spectrometry.
