Abstract
For volume rendering with many different objects there is a need of co mprehensive knowledge representation schemes. This paper describes a n ew data structure, which finks spatial knowledge from tomographic imag e volumes with symbolic descriptions. Its application is shown with ex amples of 3D anatomical atlases.
