Abstract
The authors report a case of cystic dystrophy in heterotopic pancreas in the absence of disease of the proper pancreas. This case is particu lar in regard of ifs association to pancreas divisum, ifs antro-bulbou s localization, and its evolutive character marked by hyperamylasemia, ascite, and sharped inflammatory lesions of resection specimem. The d iagnostic usefulness of endoscopic ultrasonography is outlined.
