Ruderman-Kittel-Kasuya-Yosida interaction between localized spins is c
onsidered for various dimensionality structures of doped diluted magne
tic semiconductors. The influence of this interaction on the temperatu
re and magnetic-field dependencies of magnetization and spin splitting
of the bands are evaluated in the mean-field approximation. The resul
ts show that the hole densities that can presently be achieved are suf
ficiently high to drive a paramagnetic-ferromagnetic phase transition
in bulk and modulation-doped structures of II-VI diluted magnetic semi
conductors.
