Abstract
Imlink, a personal computer based image storage and transfer system, h as been used regularly in Oxford since 1989, primarily to transmit com puted tomography (CT) brain scans to the regional neurosurgery centre for management advice. Recently this system has been used to send a we ekly educational programme (CT and magnetic resonance imaging neurorad iology cases) to district general hospitals.
