J. Reeve et M. Sultan, GAIN SCHEDULING ADAPTIVE-CONTROL STRATEGIES FOR HVDC SYSTEMS TO ACCOMMODATE LARGE DISTURBANCES, IEEE transactions on power systems, 9(1), 1994, pp. 366-372
Techniques have been developed to permit the response of the controls
for dc transmission systems to adapt to large system changes. A gain s
cheduling approach tunes the control as an on-line function of the eff
ective short-circuit ratio and contingency indicators. The method has
been tested by digital simulation, based on EMTP, of a back-to-back dc
system. It has been found to be robust and control performance has be
en enhanced.
