Abstract
In this correspondence, we propose novel systolic architectures for th e real-time computation of the DFT and the DCT. The proposed architect ures are suitable for implementation in the VLSI form. Extension of th e proposed architectures for the real-time computation of the 2-D vers ion of these transforms is also given.
