Abstract
This paper analyzes the results of a study of the polarization propert ies of certain prisms when they have arbitrary spatial orientation. Th e process of varying the polarization state of the input plane-polariz ed radiation and of the prism transmittances is considered. The form o f the reflecting coating and the polarization azimuth of the input rad iation is determined for which variations of the parameters of the pol arized output radiation and the transmittances of the elements are min imal.
