Abstract
Electrochemical oxidation of a series of thiobenzyl esters of P(III) a cids is studied and its catalytic character is shown. The process occu rs irreversibly and the compounds formed are identical with the produc ts of the reaction of thiobenzyl esters of P(III) acids with molecular oxygen.
