Abstract
Enones are regioselectively converted to triisopropylsilyl and triphen ylsilyl enol ethers in high yields using triisopropylsilane or triphen ylsilane and platinum divinyltetramethyldisiloxane complex 1 (Karstedt 's catalyst).
