Abstract
The butanolic and ethyl acetate extracts of Ehretia philippinensis wer e found to have anti-histamine release activity against compound 48/80 . Rosmarinic acid was isolated and identified as the active constituen t. Five cyanoglucosides (four new and one known) were also isolated. T heir structures were elucidated by spectral and chemical means.
