Abstract
The new diterpenequinone columbaridione, together with the known compo unds 7-methoxyrosmanol, 7-ethoxyrosomanol, 11-acetoxy carnosic acid, 2 0-deoxocarnosol and miltodiol were isolated from the aerial part of Sa lvia columbariae. The structure of the new diterpenequinone was establ ished from spectral data and chemical correlations.
