Abstract
A trimethoxysilyl group, which reacts easily with water, was introduce d into poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) in homogeneous and heterogeneous rea ctions. The polymers obtained were crosslinked in the presence of wate r, and crosslinking was accelerated in the presence of acid or base.
