Abstract
The V. I. E. W. project was designed to put into effect peer-based alc ohol and other drug (AOD) prevention program in institutions of higher education (IHE) in Virginia. Results showed that 46% of twenty-eight participating IHEs had AOD ''action plans'' in place at follow-up. Of those who did not, 61% reported other positive outcomes as a result of participating in V. I. E. W.
