Abstract
Factors affecting the regiosclectivity of the catalytic reaction of me thyl diatoacetate with 1-trimethylsilylalkene-1-ynes have been reveale d. Conditions for selective cyclopropanation of the double bond in 1-t rimethylsilylbut-3-ene-1-yne and 1-trimethylsilyl-3-methylbut-3-ene-1- yne in the presence of Rh2(OAc)4 have been found.
