Abstract
The azimuthal asymmetry shown by polarized electrons and Positrons ela stically scattered by point nuclei, and the degree of polarization of the scattered electrons and positrons appearing when a beam of unpolar ized electrons (or positrons) is deflected by point nuclei in an elast ic way, are calculated applying the Mott theory of electron elastic sc attering.
