Abstract
From the roots of Polygala senega L. six new oligosaccharides, called senegoses J-O, were isolated and their structures were elucidated by s pectroscopic and chemical means. These oligosaccharides were esterifie d with acetic, benzoic, p-coumaric and ferulic acids.
