Abstract
The content of rare-earth elements (REE) in standard samples of ferrom anganese nodules (SDO-5, 6), ferromanganese crust (SDO-7) and red clay (SDO-9) has been determined by ICP-MS and instrumental neutron activa tion analysis. The reproductivity of ICP-MS values equals 5 - 6%. Thes e results are discussed and compared with other data. It was found tha t distribution of REE in standard samples of oceanic iron-manganese or es and red clay is highly homogenous.
