DETERMINATION OF CHARACTERISTICS OF HORIZ ONTAL VESSELS MOVEMENT BY MEANS OF ACOUSTIC METHOD

The acoustic method of measurement of small vessel's displacement is g eneralized for arbitrary horizontal vessel's movement taking into acco unt delay of accepted signal relatively transmitted. Simultaneous regi stration of bottom reflected signals from two spaced transmitters with different frequencies is applied for this generalization. Formulae fo r calculation of vessel's turning's angle and displacement are obtaine d, method of vessel's trajectory restoration is suggested, errors of m easurements are estimated and recommendations on realization of the me thod are given.
