THE NUCLEOTIDE-SEQUENCES OF 0.7-KB FRAGME NTS OF THE MIXED DNA OF ARABIDOPSIS-THALIANA AND PISUM-SATIVUM

HindIII fragments of chloroplast DNA of Pisum sativum L. and Arabidops is thaliana L. of 0.7-kb size were cloned and sequenced. Comparative a nalysis of the primary structure of these DNA fragments with that of c hloroplast DNA of Nicotianum tabacum L. revealed the presence of a par t of the rps19 gene, exon 2 of the rpl2 gene, and the spacer. The sequ ence homology was evaluated in pairwise comparisons of coding and nonc oding sequences, which revealed the specific features of the nucleotid e sequences of the studied fragments.
