Abstract
Modified finite difference methods based on mixed-type interpolation a re derived and applied for fourth-order linear ordinary differential e quations subject to a special kind of boundary conditions. In this pap er, we present and analyse methods of orders 2, 4 and 6. Several numer ical experiments axe performed to sustain our technique.
