Abstract
The equilibrium charge state distributions for 1.7-2.8 MeV C-12 and C- 13 ions stripped in the high voltage terminal of a tandem accelerator have been measured just in front of the analysing magnet. The results are compared with earlier reported measurements using external strippe r mediums and with calculated charge state distributions.
