Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis is a rare disorder previously repor
ted predominantly in Japanese people who are otherwise healthy. Recent
ly, the disorder has been noted in patients with acquired immune defic
iency syndrome, as has eosinophilic folliculitis, a similar but distin
ct entity. The authors report a patient with eosinophilic folliculitis
who was immunocompromised after high dose chemotherapy and bone marro
w autograft for treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
