K. Heeschewagner et Tn. Mitchell, APPROACHES TO WATER-SOLUBLE PHOSPHINES .2. FREE-RADICAL ADDITION-REACTIONS OF PHENYLPHOSPHINES, Journal of organometallic chemistry, 468(1-2), 1994, pp. 99-106
Free radical additions of diphenylphosphine, phenylphosphine and ethyl
enebis(phenylphosphine) to the following species are described: alkyno
ls, alkyne ethers, unsaturated carboxylic acids and esters and beta-la
ctones. In a number of cases, these lead to water-soluble phosphines.
NMR spectroscopic characterization of all new products has been carrie
d out.
