Chymotrypsin hydrolyzate of the intracellular serine protease was sepa
rated by ion-exchange chromatography on a sulphocationite resine follo
wed by HPLC to yield fifty one individual peptides. Their sequences, c
orresponding in total to 381 amino acid residues, were determined by t
he manual Edman procedure.
