Abstract
The acidity of TS-1 controls the product selectivity for the epoxidati on of allyl alcohol with H2O2; base treatment of TS-l enhances the sel ectivity to glycidol whereas incorporation of Bronsted acid sites enha nces the selectivity to the products of solvolysis ring opening reacti ons.
