By the example of the K+ --> pi+pi0gamma decay the contribution of chi
ral anomalies to non-leptonic weak decays of K-mesons has been investi
gated at the quark level. The theoretical prediction for the probabili
ty of the K+ --> pi+pi0gamma decay with the direct emission of a photo
n is B(K+ --> pi+pi0gamma(DE))anom less-than-or-equal-to (1.1 +/- 0.2)
x 10(-5). It is stressed that the mechanism of the DELTA(I) = 1/2 tra
nsition in the K+ --> pi+pi0gamma decay differs from that governing th
e enhancement of the DELTAI = 1/2 transitions in the K0 --> pi+pi-deca
y.
