COMMENT ON DAVIDSON (1993)

This comment questions Davidson's (1993) view that inclusion of cross- cultural psychology in training programs deserves high priority. It ar gues instead for emphasis on the importance of all contextual componen ts in psychological work. Davidson's paper reminds us that the English language has a special place in world culture, and prompts questions about inclusion of a foreign language requirement in training.
