Abstract
The novel benzoxathiinopyridines 4 and 5, the hitherto unknown dibenzo pyrone 6 and the heterocyclic enaminone 7 have been synthesized by rin g transformations of phenyl 7-fluoro-4-chromone-3-sulfonate (1) with m ethyl 3-oxopentanoate (2) in the presence of ammonium acetate (3). The structures of 4-7 were determinated by spectroscopic methods and the reaction pathways of formation for these compounds are discussed.
