Abstract
Our ultrasonic sensor system for determining the acoustic properties o f liquids allows the direct and continuous observation of processes in the chemical or food industry. The principle and features will be des cribed. An important point for reliable and exact measurement of ultra sonic absorption is the influence of geometrical construction and mate rial properties of ultrasonic sensors on forming the receiver and echo signals. Some examples show advantageous use of ultrasonic sensor sys tems.
