Pa. Lindgard et Pv. Hendriksen, ESTIMATION OF ELECTRONIC AND STRUCTURAL INFLUENCE ON THE THERMAL MAGNETIC-PROPERTIES OF CLUSTERS, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 49(17), 1994, pp. 12291-12294
Using an effective Heisenberg model for clusters the spin-wave spectru
m is calculated by direct diagonalization. The inclusion of a nonunifo
rm magnetization profile at zero temperature, nonuniform exchange inte
ractions as a result of structural relaxations, longer-range interacti
ons, and of magnetic surface anisotropy have been studied. Very small
effects are found on the thermal magnetic properties relative to those
predicted for the simple nearest-neighbor Heisenberg model by Hendrik
sen, Linderoth, and Lindgard [J. Phys. C 31, 5675 (1993); Phys. Rev. B
48, 7259 (1993)].
