Abstract
Quantum properties of the radiance of the crystal-like gas (CLG) are a nalysed. The CLG is a kind of medium in which atoms are arranged perio dically and do not interact with each other. The state evolution of th e whole system, including the CLG and the radiation field, is obtained . Properties of the radiation field, such as the cut-off frequency and the evolution of the intensity spectrum, are offered.
