Abstract
The antipodal correlations between opposing sectors of large critical percolation clusters are negative, as expected, but vanish in the infi nite size limit approximated by an inner square much smaller than the whole lattice but much larger than the nearest-neighbour distance. Ant ipodal correlations are a new numerical measure of fractal lacunarity, that is, of texture: zero correlation expressed that the lacunarity i s neutral in percolation clusters.
