Abstract
In the above note,1 the authors present two simple necessary condition s for a polynomial with complex coefficients to be strictly Hurwitz. T hey claim that this is an extension and refinement of a recent result [1]. We comment that the second condition is well known and that the f irst one is a direct corollary of Newton's test for a polynomial to ha ve only real roots.
