Abstract
Intestinal adhesions due to previous abdominal surgery were, until rec ently, considered a contra-indication for laparoscopic surgery. With t he latest advances and cumulated experience, this is no longer true. I n fact, such adhesions, which may frequently cause recurrent intestina l obstruction, may be an indication for laparoscopic adhesiolysis. We report a case of recurrent intestinal obstruction following abdominal surgery successfully treated by laparoscopic adhesiolysis.
