Abstract
Seven patients who underwent abdominal hysterectomy with or without ad nexectomy after prior total proctocolectomy with ileostomy are reporte d. Extensive retroperitoneal and presacral exposure was required to ac complish surgery, and intraoperative morbidity was significant in four of seven patients. Surgical considerations are discussed.
