A patient with complex pulmonary atresia and increasing cyanosis due t
o stenoses of aortopulmonary collateral vessels improved after implant
ation of balloon expandable stents into the stenosed vessels. Stent im
plantation may provide an alternative to surgical palliation in this g
roup of patients.
