La. Grishina et al., CHANGES IN PROPERTIES OF MOUNTAIN-MEADOW ALPINE SOILS OF THE NORTHWESTERN CAUCASUS UNDER DIFFERENT ECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS, Eurasian soil science, 25(9), 1993, pp. 1-12
Soils of the Teberda Preserve, which have developed on silicate rocks,
are investigated. In the geomorphological series from positive to neg
ative elements of the mesotopography, there is a regular decrease in t
he stoniness of the soils, the reserves of Fine Earth increase, the ac
tual and hydrolytic acidity of the soils grows, and the content of exc
hangeable ammonium and reserves of organic matter increase.
