Abstract
Conformational study of 6-(4-(trifluoromethoxy)aniline)tricarbonylchro mium shows in the solid state that the trifluoromethoxy group is nearl y perpendicular to the arene ring (CF3-C-O = 117-degrees) and that the amino group is eclipsed by a chromium carbonyl bond, conformation whi ch is also found in solution.
