Abstract
From the experimental branching ratios for the decay BBAR --> D() D(s )()BAR, evaluated within the Isgur and Wise theory, one gets f(Ds*) = (246 +/- 47) MeV and f(D)s = (241 +/- 36) MeV in good agreement with the value f(D)s = (232 +/- 45 +/- 20 +/- +/-48) MeV obtained from the measured Br(D(s)+ --> mu+ nu(mu)).
