Abstract
Plasma from 12 patients in India with Leishmania donovani infection wa s shown by chromium release experiments to reduce the natural killer c ell activity of normal human peripheral blood mononuclear cells in vit ro by almost 50% on average, compared with the activity in normal huma n plasma or medium alone (P<0.005).
