The Compton effect, a keynote duality phenomenon, was causally re-exam
ined to the standard of the enthalpiomass ecology which obligatorily a
ssessed the effect's precursor studies, Michelson-Morley and black bod
y radiation, in great natural depth. The re-examination revealed both
ambiguity and non-causality in the effect's major output, the famous C
ompton wavelength, as it pertains to material identity and wave, parti
cle and aduality properties. The original analysis sought to merge qua
