Abstract
The electrochemical reduction of the Fe(III) complexes with a series o f substituted N,N'-Ethylenebisacetonimines was investigated by cyclic voltammetry in acetonitrile solution at a platinum electrode. The subs tituent does not significantly influence the redox properties of the s tudied complexes. The symmetry of the redox orbital is responsible for the observed behaviour of the complexes.
