Ddm. Braat et al., TRIPLET PREGNANCY AFTER PULSATILE GONADOTROPIN-RELEASING-HORMONE TREATMENT IN AN ACROMEGALIC WOMAN, European journal of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biology, 54(2), 1994, pp. 148-149
A triplet pregnancy is reported in an acromegalic woman with hypothala
mic amenorrhoea treated with pulsatile gonadotrophin-releasing hormone
(GnRH). The patient was on bromocriptine medication and had slightly
elevated growth hormone (GH) and somatomedin-C (Sm-C) levels. This pro
bably accounted for the conception of triplets in the first stimulatio
n cycle.
