Chiral chelate complexes with dianions of 2-hydroxyiminocarboxylic aci
ds (mu(5)-Cp)(Do)Ir-N(O)=C(R)CO2 (1) und (mu(6)-p-cymene)(Do)Ru-N(O)=
C(R)CO2 (2) are obtained by deprotonation of the compounds (mu(5)-Cp)
(Cl)Ir-N(OH)=C(R)CO2 and (mu(6)-p-cymene)(Cl)Ru-N(OH)=C(R)CO2 in the p
resence of a donor ligand (Do = PR(3), P(OMe)(3), py). The structure o
f (mu(5)-Cp)(Me(3)P)Ir-N(O)=C(Me)CO2 has been determined by X-ray dif
fraction.
