G. Deutscher et al., EVIDENCE FOR STRONG ELECTRON-PHONON INTERACTION IN POINT-CONTACT SPECTROSCOPY OF SUPERCONDUCTING ORIENTED LA1-XSRXCUO4, Journal of superconductivity, 7(2), 1994, pp. 371-374
Point contact spectroscopy results obtained along the CuO planes an or
iented LaSrCuO samples are presented. Both Andreev and tunneling conta
cts have been studied, up to 100 meV. The results are interpreted with
in the framework of a recent theory of inelastic transport through nor
mal metal-superconductor interfaces. and both types of contacts are co
nsistent with this theory. They point clearly to the electron-phonon i
nteraction as the source of this inelastic scattering and of supercond
uctivity in this cuprate.
