Abstract
We analyse the time domain behaviour of a one-dimensional model of the Gunn effect, subject to a two-frequency or quasi-periodic drive. We f ind that this system exhibits a behaviour known as strange-non-chaotic , i.e. the system exhibits a strange or fractal attractor, yet is not sensitive to initial conditions (a zero Lyapunov exponent).
