Abstract
The transport coefficients like electrical conductivity sigma and Hall 's coefficient x of a generalized Ohm's law for a plasma flowing under various electromotive forces have been expressed in the forms sigma = sigma0 (1 + f(sigma)) and kappa = kappa0(1 + f(kappa)) respectively. The correction factors f(sigma) and f(x) appear in the second approxim ation of an algebraic transport theory of Demetriades and Argyropolous . In the second approximation, extra terms involving electron-neutral interactions appear in the pressure tensor for a weakly ionized plasma . These correction factors have been calculated for various idealized particle-particle interactions as well as for many real gases like H, N, O, H-2, N2, O2, CO and rare gases in the electron temperature range 100-30,000K.
