Abstract
Based on complete equations for the viscous short layer, calculations are performed of supersonic turbulent flow past the surface of a spher ically blunted cone. Use is made of the Bald-Lomax algebraic model of turbulence with correction for compressibility in the van Driest dampi ng factor. Results of calculations of the flow parameters for uniform and nonuniform (of the far wake type) forward flow are given. The syst em of equations of motion is integrated by the numerical method of glo bal iterations.
